Bachelor of Information Technology in Mainframe Computing (938AA)

The University of Canberra and Global Online Learning have formed an alliance to provide trainees in mainframe computing to major employers in Australia. The traineeship consists of work experience and study for the Bachelor of Information Technology Mainframe Computing (BITMC). The course covers systems development aspects of the information technology profession, with the focus on mainframe computing.
The Bachelor of Information Technology in Mainframe Computing has been created for high-calibre students with the potential to succeed in this creative and challenging area.
The course is open to students who have completed one year of tertiary study with an above Credit average, and Global Online Learning will match selected students with employers.
The course, which is tailored to meet the industry's needs, consists of full time work (on full pay) and study through intensive summer schools, face to face classes, and online delivery, with full financial support from the employer.
