This degree provides students with a sound scientific background in the human sciences with a focus on human physiology and biochemistry, nutritional science, food and consumer science and the psychological, social and cultural factors influencing peoples response to food and their eating behaviour.

Graduates work in a variety of nutrition and community education environments, including health promotion, government policy areas, the food industry or in secondary teaching (science).
