Please Note: This course is not available for new admissions in 2012. Students can gain an equivalent qualification by studying either Early Childhood Education (Birth - 8 Years) or Primary Teaching.

This is the time in a childs development when growth, change and learning are rapid and exciting. Our courses in early childhood provide a foundation in human development and learning theories. Balanced with generous time spent in the classroom this course of study gives you the knowledge and experience needed for productive work with young children.

You will do a minor in inclusive education and two units in early childhood teaching for 3 to 8 years which, together with the practical elements of the course, prepare you for teaching work in preschools and primary schools.

INT-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode with online teaching

ONL: Online delivery only (no face-to-face teaching)

Face-to-face: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, supported by material on Moodle, our online teaching system.

STD-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, and online teaching.
