Bachelor of Education in Secondary Teaching (Design and Technology) (433BF)
Please Note: This course is not available for new admissions in 2012.
Students
can now obtain a Design and Technology specialisation by completing a relevant
undergraduate degree (such as Industrial Design) and then taking our Graduate Diploma in Education in Secondary Teaching course or alternatively taking our Education / Arts double degree with a major in the appropriate specialisation(s).

Secondary teaching is a great option if you are attracted to a specific subject area and would like to play a role in passing that knowledge on to young people.Our secondary teaching degrees are designed for teaching the following subjects: design and technology, health and physical education, or music. The degree also allows you to select a minor from a second area of teaching to broaden your skill base and employability in an age group where demand continues to be high.

Please note the following abbreviations:
INT-F2F: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode (check with unit convener for time of lectures, tutorials etc.)
INT-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode with online teaching
ONL: Online delivery only (no face-to-face teaching)
Face-to-face: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, supported by material on Moodle, our online teaching system.
STD-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, and online teaching.
