Faculty of Business and Government

This course is designed to extend the research skills of students who have demonstrated merit in their undergraduate course.

The Bachelor of Philosophy Honours course is designed to allow students to progress to higher degrees by research and prepare them for employment.

Students from anywhere in the University (and from outside the University) who meet the entry requirements can apply for the Bachelor of Philosophy Honours program.

The Bachelor of Philosophy Honours program includes an Honours Research Colloquium, an Honours Research thesis written with the guidance of an academic supervisor and coursework in research methods.

Students within the Faculty of Business and Government can apply into the Bachelor of Philosophy Honours program in the areas of their undergraduate specialisation – Applied Economics, Building and Construction Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Politics and International Politics, Tourism Management and Urban and Regional Planning.

INT-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode with online teaching

ONL: Online delivery only (no face-to-face teaching)

Face-to-face: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, supported by material on Moodle, our online teaching system.

STD-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, and online teaching.
