UCC specialises in preparing both Australian and International students for study at the University of Canberra. If you do not gain direct entry into your chosen degree at UC, we offer some great pathway programs that will make you better prepared for university study.
IELTS and English Language Programs
The University of Canberra English Language Institute provides intensive Academic English tuition for specific groups of students.
UC Accelerate is the University of Canberra’s University Extension Program. It offers University units to recommended Year 12 students in the Australian Capital Territory and Queanbeyan.
Applicants of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent should apply directly to the University for the Ngunnawal Foundation Program if their current qualifications are not adequate to commence in an award course.

Canberra Institute of Technology Fast-Track
CIT and UC work together to provide opportunities and pathways for students who wish to obtain a degree. You can decide to continue studying in the same field as you studied at CIT or you may choose a new area of study.
