The Master of Forensic Studies provides a critical understanding and knowledge of the investigative and analytical concepts that apply to specific areas of forensic science. The course content has been designed to provide a breadth of education choices to enable students to receive training relevant to their chosen specialisation. These options include professional training in law and management areas. This is particularly relevant for students already in the workforce and seeking education to assist in promotion opportunities. The course also provides an opportunity for professionals from non-forensic backgrounds to gain a qualification in this field.

Students meeting the requirements of the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma may exit with the Graduate Certificate of Forensic Studies or the Graduate Diploma of Forensic Studies.

Course delivery is online for all forensic units.

Please note the following abbreviations:

INT-F2F: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode (check with unit convener for time of lectures, tutorials etc.)

INT-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode with online teaching

ONL: Online delivery only (no face-to-face teaching)

Face-to-face: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, supported by material on Moodle, our online teaching system.

STD-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, and online teaching.
