The Master of Physiotherapy is accredited by the Australian Physiotherapy Council and caters for graduates of an appropriate undergraduate human biology degree to provide a focused training in physiotherapy. The degree incorporates lectures, laboratories and tutorial sessions with a strong professional residency component to provide students with the necessary knowledge, attitudes and clinical decision-making skills required to practice as physiotherapists.

Full-time domestic students in this course may be eligible for student income support in the form of Youth Allowance or Austudy

Course Timetable

This intensive graduate entry course commences in mid-July each year and differs from the general University Calendar. Details of the Master of Physiotherapy course calendar are here.

Please note the following abbreviations:

INT-F2F: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode (check with unit convener for time of lectures, tutorials etc.)

INT-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode with online teaching

ONL: Online delivery only (no face-to-face teaching)

Face-to-face: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, supported by material on Moodle, our online teaching system.

STD-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, and online teaching.
