Master of Interior Architecture (122JA)

Faculty of Arts and Design

This postgraduate degree uses a studio-focused curriculum to consolidate students existing design knowledge and develop mastery of skills in the Interior Architecture discipline. Design studios provide the foundation for each semester complemented by studies in the history and theory of interior architecture, the design of temporary structures and professional practice. Collaborative studio encourages interdisciplinary dialogues with postgraduate students in the Architecture, Industrial Design, and Landscape Architecture programs. Electives allow for further individual choice of study.

The Interior Architecture course provides a high level of research and design expertise in the specialised fields of exhibition, event and service design. The course will provide graduates with the intellectual and practical knowledge and skills they need to succeed in a competitive design environment. The program responds to the demand for professionals who can deliver a project from a theoretical, visually represented, idea-based concept through detailed technical resolution.
