Introduction

This course extends the Master of Digital Design, offering students the opportunity to undertake an independent practice-led research project in digital design. The project is presented in the form of an Honours dissertation, consisting of a body of design work as well as a written component, contextualising, documenting on and reflecting on the practice. Open to students who have completed the Master of Digital Design (or an equivalent qualification) with merit, the Master of Digital Design (Honours) provides a platform for innovative practice, as well as a pathway into further research study.

At the completion of the Honours year students will:
- understand and apply principles of practice-led research in digital design
- successfully undertake and document practice-led research that contributes to the field of digital design.

Admission Requirements

Entry to the Master of Digital Design (Honours) program is on the basis of successful completion of the Master of Digital Design with a minimum Grade Point Average of 5.0. Applicants with equivalent qualifications from other universities will be considered.
