This course is for students who want to obtain a professional qualification in public relations and also pursue a wider liberal-arts education.
Public relations is the management function that enables organisations to communicate with internal and external audiences to achieve mutual understanding. It is a growing profession that is practised internationally. This course will provide students with the theoretical understanding and practical skills required to work as a public relations professional for a private enterprise, or a government or not-for-profit organisation.
The Public Relations course is accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and graduates are eligible to become professional members of the PRIA.

INT-F2F: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode (check with unit convener for time of lectures, tutorials etc.)
INT-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode with online teaching
ONL: Online delivery only (no face-to-face teaching)
Face-to-face: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, supported by material on Moodle, our online teaching system.
STD-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, and online teaching.
