This course prepares students for a career involving a combination of communication and legal responsibilities.

The Bachelor of Laws course prepares students for employment in the legal profession by providing them with practical skills and competencies in the basic areas of legal practice. It also has a strong commercial orientation.

The Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies provides an advanced study of the history, theory and methods of Communication and Media Studies with a special focus on political communication. It explores the way in which societies have evolved in conjunction with advances in communication technology and addresses the way communications media have profoundly transformed the way we live.

The double degree course prepares students for either a career in organisational communication requiring competence in law, or for legal practice, particularly in the fields of media and communication.

INT-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode with online teaching

ONL: Online delivery only (no face-to-face teaching)

Face-to-face: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, supported by material on Moodle, our online teaching system.

STD-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, and online teaching.
