Role of Commercial Services.

The role of Commercial Services is to provide a focal point for commercial / procurement projects across the University through engagement throughout the project life cycle from concept through to negotiation and implementation. It applies commercial, procurement and contract management strategies across the University’s non-salary expenditure categories to achieve an improvement in commercial outcomes across the University.

Services

We provide:

• Procurement services
• Commercial tenancy agreements: Initiation and lead for all new or existing commercial tenancies on campus, including student accommodation.
• Review and negotiation of all infrastructure and other major commercial proposals and implementation.
• Development of contract management policy and procedure.
• Contract management of major University wide corporate contracts, including WIPRO and vehicles.
• Implementation and management of UC standing offers and panel arrangements for goods and services.
• Commercial support to technical areas within the University, such as Campus Planning and Development.
• Student accommodation
