Refund Policy for Special Studies (Summer School)

If you have accepted your offer and paid fees for your Special Studies program and you change your mind about studying at the University of Canberra College you should advise us of your decision by completing an application to withdraw. You will be eligible for a refund if you meet one or more of the following conditions:-

  1. You have changed your mind before the commencement of the course.
  2. You are unable to start or continue in the course because of family illness or other special circumstances. (Supporting documentation will be required.)

The amount that we refund will depend on your circumstances and when we have received advice of your decision.

  • If written advice is received before 9.00am on the first day of term we will retain an administration fee of $35.00. The administration fee will be waived if you gain admission to university.
  • If written advice is received on or after the first day of term but before 5.00pm on Friday of week 4 of the term then we will refund 50% of the tuition fees that you have paid.
  • If the written advice is received after 5.00pm on Friday of week 4 of the term you will not be eligible for any refund.
