The following courses are available to international students with an IELTS of less than 5.5 who intend applying for a UC Diploma program.

All programs are delivered by the University of Canberra English Language Institute (UCELI)

Minimum entry point: IELTS 5.0 (or TOEFL equivalent)

English Pre-Access Program

UC College recommends that students with an IELTS score of 5.0 complete two modules of the English Pre-Access Program to improve their score by 0.5. Taking this course for 2 modules also allows for international students to gradually settle into the demands of living and studying abroad.

Each module in this program will be five weeks in length.

Minimum Entry Point: Less than IELTS 5.0

General English Course

If your IELTS score is less than 5.0 we advise you to enrol in the General English course prior to entry into the English Pre-Access Program.
