The preparation program has three components:

The first is a workbook and reading guide containing theory, practice exercises, and revision worksheets and assignements. This is mailed to students when they enrol. Students follow the reading guide at their own pace.

The second is online support. At the time of enrolment, students are provided with a user ID and password to access the Chemistry Prep website. Here they can ask questions, have their solutions checked and request more practice.  Students are able to obtain whatever help they need to support their self paced learning.

The third component is face to face sessions. A series of workshops brings students and staff together for practical sessions and a review of the reading material.  It is also an opportunity for students to get to know the university facilities, staff and students.
