The Centre for Internet Safety undertakes research to help better understand, qualify and quantify the issues arising from cyber crime and threats to cyber security.
The research output will usually be in the form of a document about 3,000 words long, containing policy and other actionable advice. We will aim to release at least 6 such documents a year. Additional publications may include conference proceedings.
The Centre's research is presently focusing on:
- The impact of cyber crime on e‑Commerce, m-Commerce and business viability
- The interaction between governments, businesses and consumers to reduce cybercrime and threats to cybersecurity
- Policy and legal questions stemming from cybercrime and threats to cybersecurity
Several papers are underway and will be published when completed.
