Doctor of Philosophy 1993 from the John Curtin School of Medical Research, ANU.
Bachelor of Science (Honours Class I) from the University of Newcastle (NSW)

Recipient of the Vice-Chancellor's Distinction Award for Research & Enterprise (Feb. 2004)

Finalist (with S. Mahalingam) of Fresh Science, 2001.

Australasian Society for Immunology Student award, 1992

Current Holder of a NHMRC Project Grant (A novel mouse model to investigate the mechanisms of viral-induced arthritis).

Molecular and Cellular Pathogenesis of Viral Disease, Human Virology, Immunopathology
