Anne Daly

Research Associate

Anne DalyAnne Daly completed her PhD at ANU in 1990 on the topic of ‘An international comparison of relative earnings in Australia, Great Britain and the United States’. She has continued her collaboration with the ANU in labour market research issues.

Her teaching in the Economics programme at the University of Canberra has mainly been in the areas of intermediate microeconomics, human resource economics, development economics and contemporary issues in microeconomics.

Her research interests have focussed on labour market issues; specifically on the position of women and Indigenous Australians in the labour market. Her other research interests include communication policy and the evaluation of financial literacy programmes.

She is an editor of Economic Papers, a journal of the Economics Society of Australia and on the editorial board of Agenda and the Australian Journal of Labour Economics. She is a Centre Associate at the Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research at ANU.
