Thesis topic:   Arsenic uptake and speciation within the unicellular algae Dunaliella tertiolecta, with emphasis on lipid soluble arsenic

Research interests:   I am interested in looking at arsenic cycling within unicellular algae to establish what the effects of different arsenic species have in terms of influencing speciation patterns and uptake rates. In addition I am also interested in establishing what role environmental variations play in influencing arsenic uptake and speciation.

Thesis topic:   Distribution and ecology of the grassland earless dragon on the Monaro Tablelands, NSW

Research interests:   Planning is very preliminary however my interests are in the distribution of the grassland earless dragon throughout the Monaro Tablelands including on Travelling Stock Reserves and on Private property. I am interested in the factors limiting the distribution of the species and would like to investigate the importance of geology e.g. basalt soils and rock outcrops. Interests also include investigating the effects of land use on the grassland earless dragon.
