Viewing pages

The onscreen size of a page can be increased by holding down the Ctrl key while rolling the mouse wheel forward or pressing the plus (+) key on the keyboard. Rolling the mouse wheel backward or pressing the minus (–) key will decrease the page size.

Printing pages

When printing web pages the 'Shrink to Fit' option sizes pages to fit on a A4 page in portrait orientation. Some users may find the font size too small for easy reading when the page is printed. If this is the case, select the landscape page orientation which gives a greater page width and allows the font to be printed at normal size. Using the 'Print Preview' option will let you see how the page will look prior to printing.

Viewing PDF files

This website has links to PDF files that can be downloaded for offline viewing and printing. For this you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 5 or later, on your computer. You can download a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website.

First, check the system requirements to match the most appropriate version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to your computer.

Then, download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader from Adobe Systems Incorporated.

Once you have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, it will automatically open when you click on a link to a file with a .pdf extension.
