Brian Egloff
Brian Egloff (BSC Hons, MA, PhD (ANU)) taught at the University of Canberra from 1989 to 2006. In 2006 he was a Visiting Scholar at the Getty Conservation Institute, Los Angles. His most recent book, Bones of the Ancestors. The Ambum Stone: from the highlands of New Guinea to the antiquities market to Australia, was published by AltaMira Press in 2008. He is currently working on a new book entitled Archaeological Heritage Management Today and Tomorrow: International Reflections. Brian stepped down as the President of the International Scientific Committee for Archaeological Heritage Management for ICOMOS in 2010 after ten years in that position.
