There is no fee for this service.
Important change of policy for Career Services users: Please read before contacting the Careers Services to lodge your vacancy.
As of March 2010, the UC Career Services office will no longer be listing job advertisements under Employment Opportunities on the website for domestic service positions based in/or at people's homes. This includes jobs such as cleaning, home help, gardening, maintenance, labouring and childcare.
The Career Services office will be suggesting that students seeking this type of casual employment do so directly through companies or agencies registered in the provision of these services.
Secondary level tutoring jobs which are directly lodged by individuals and not third parties with relevance to students' academic studies will continue to be placed on the website. Please note that it is your responsibility as an employer to ensure that students are adequately covered for workers compensation for these and any other paid positions lodged on the website.
All positions advertised remain at the discretion of the Manager, Career Services office.
Commission only jobs and jobs where the student is employed as a contractor and not a PAYE employer will generally not be posted, and any jobs posted by third parties or recruitment agencies may incur a fee.
