Australian Food Industry Summer Undergraduate Positions

Australian Food Industry Undergraduate Positions

NOTE: These positions are for any discipline and are located throughout Australia, across the entire supply chain.

Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) is seeking university students across Australia, due to complete their degrees in 2009, to participate in a university summer break employment program in the red meat food industry.

MLA has developed a structured summer break professional undergraduate program that will give successful applicants the opportunity to apply their studies on current enterprise issues in Australia's red meat industry.

MLA has assisted in excess of one hundred graduates in similar programs over the last six years and this year anticipates assisting many more.

Disciplines:

MLA invites interest from undergraduates in the following (or equivalent) disciplines:

  • Engineering (All)
  • Information Technology
  • Science
  • Physiotherapy / Nursing
  • Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
  • Microbiology
  • Health Sciences
  • Human Relations
  • Food Technology
  • Business / Marketing
  • Statistics
  • Rural / Veterinary Science
  • Agricultural Science / Agricultural Business
  • Nutrition

Note 1: You must be prepared to travel within your state or interstate and stay in city or rural areas for the duration of the program.

Note 2: The application website is currently undergoing upgrading and although is available for viewing, candidates should not lodge their interest or apply until after 15 August 2008.
