Australian Public Service Commission 2009 Graduate Opportunities

2009 Australia-Korea Internship Program

The AKIP is an initiative of the Australia-Korea Foundation, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and managed by the Research Institute for Asia and the Pacific (RIAP). The internship program offers exceptional opportunities for outstanding students who wish to experience a cultural exchange while pursuing a business-related career in the Asia Pacific region.

Applications are now open to students from all states and territories in Australia who are in their 3rd or 4th years of an undergraduate degree, or postgraduate coursework degree. Suitable applicants must be studying in one of the following fields: economics, commerce, finance, accounting, business, marketing, information and communications technology, and international trade.

Legal Clerkships - Summer 2008/2009

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) is currently seeking to recruit up to five summer clerks for their 2008/2009 Legal Clerkship Program within their Legal, Investigations and Procurement Group, commencing late November 2008 and concluding mid-February 2009.

Applications open 2 July 2008 and close 1 August 2008.  The Legal Clerkship Program is open to law students with between two and four semesters remaining of their law degree.

NAGCAS Global Career Expo

Rio Tinto seek applications from students in all undergraduate years in some key discipline areas including;

DSTO 2008/09 Summer Vacation Scholarship Program

Applications for the Defence Science and Technology Organisation 2008/09 Summer Vacation Scholarship Program are now open.  Applications close 29 June 2008.

The scholarship provides an opportunity for students to further develop their skills and knowledge for educational purposes in a research environment pertinent to their tertiary studies.

There are approximately 30 scholarships available throughout DSTO sites including, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Stirling, Western Australia.
