Thirty-five entries were received for this competition. This is an exceptional response to a challenging invitation, and the designs submitted reflect the rich diversity of talent within Australia’s design professions.

The Jury awarded prizes for design ideas submitted for:

• The Mandatory Module - The Concourse

and also for:

• Optional Module 1 - Landscape Character Plan
• Optional Module 2 - University Green
• Optional Module 4 - Siting of Key Buildings

The jury noted that the winning designs for the concourse and the landscape character plan, though conceived by different designers, subtly complemented each other and could work well together.

The Jury chose not to award prizes for:

• Optional Module 3: University Hill
• Optional Module 5: Building Entries
• Optional Module 6: Building Facades

The Jury also chose to award three supplementary prizes:

• Number 06 submitted by Colin Stewart Architects
• Number 24 submitted by submitted by Ayling and Drury in association with Stuart Mason
• Number 37 submitted by Charles Dewanto, C J Foo, Lorenzo Ju, Yenny Kusuma, Louis Wong, Maggie Chu and Tze Ek Ng
