Student Central is a one-stop shop for student services and administration, as well as a place to socialise and relax.

Stage one of this $7 million dollar project was completed in January 2012. 

Student Services are now operating from Student Central.

Work will continue on stages two through four until the end of May. There will be no access to Student Central from the Concourse during this time. Please see the map below for access routes to Student Central.

Stage one included a new front entrance opposite the Foundation Stone, new office spaces, a staff kitchen and a new Student Services area (below).

This project is due for completion in May and includes an upgrade to the central courtyard, a new student and exhibition lounge, new amenities and a new space for UC AccessAbility.

A refit of Building 1 Level C is also currently underway as part of this project. Work includes new meeting rooms, new spaces for the Office of the Dean of Students, the Multi-Faith Centre and the Chaplains Office.

Please be advised that this is a major capital works project and there may be some noise and disruption associated with demolition, drilling and grinding works. Particularly loud work will be completed prior to 9.00am and after 4.00pm on weekdays, and over the weekend. However, some intermittent noise will be unavoidable during the day. We ask for your patience while we build a better campus for you.
