With a strong internship program, specialist media facilities, online postgraduate courses and a good balance of practical learning and theory, the Communication arm of the Faculty provides its graduates with the foundation for a successful career in the information, communications and media industries.

We provide three main streams for undergraduate students - Advertising and Marketing Communication, Journalism and Public relations. Postgraduate programs provide a rich understanding of professional communication in the areas of Internet Communication, Knowledge Management and Marketing Communication.

 

Double Bachelor Degrees

For example, you can internationalise your qualifications by taking a double degree with International studies, or you can add that important legal background by taking a double degree with Laws.

Double degrees normally take an additional year or two to complete, but at the end of the course you are awarded two bachelor's degrees instead of one.

Course Electives

A number of undergraduate courses of the University offer elective majors of units to students. An elective major can often be undertaken in a faculty other than the faculty administering a student's course. Use the Majors and Minors links to view what combinations are available.

Units (Subjects)

Each course is comprised of a number of units. Some units are required for a course, while others are open to choice.

Fees

All course fees are in Australian dollars. There will be no fee increases for the duration of the course except where students extend their course.
