Australian Government Scholarships

The University of Canberra is approved to accept and welcomes students awarded various Australia Government scholarships. These include accepting students on behalf of The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID).

Awardees studying on these scholarships are managed by the AusAID Liaison Officer located within Marketing and International Office. The AusAID Liaison Officer acts as an intermediary between the students and UC, and between UC and AusAID. The common goal is to ensure the successful completion of academic programs by the students within the time specified in their placement offer, and the fulfillment of AusAID reporting and monitoring requirements.

Currently there are two types of awards available:

1. Australian Development Scholarship (ADS)
2. Australian Leadership Award (ALA)
