This document summarises workflow and approvals for various new and revised course component proposals (new, revised and closed courses, Majors/Minors and units).  It indicates which positions and/or committees are required for endorsement or approval of such proposals.  It should be read in conjunction with Guidelines for Academic Staff Developing New or Revised Courses, Majors, Minors and Units.

Academic Policy and Review (APR) should be consulted for advice on individual proposals.  APR will be able to advise which type of process is needed and supply relevant templates.  APR is available for advice and assistance at each point in the process, and is responsible for presentation of proposals to UEC and Academic Board (as needed), and for implementation of approved proposals.
