Media, Democracy & Change

Australian and New Zealand Communication Association (ANZCA) 2010 Conference
Old Parliament House, Canberra, 7-9 July 2010

The Australian and New Zealand Communication (ANZCA) conference in 2010 will be hosted by the University of Canberra, in collaboration with the Museum of Australian Democracy.

The theme of the conference is Media, Democracy and Change and the venue for discussion of these timely and important issues is Old Parliament House, Canberra.

As the nation's capital, Canberra is home to our national institutions: Parliament House, the National Museum of Australia, the War Memorial, the National Gallery and National Library of Australia. Old Parliament House, which was Australia's temporary Parliament House from 1927-1988, is now home to the Museum of Australian Democracy. Decades of politics and passion echo through the corridors, making it one of Australia's most memorable heritage attractions.

ANZCA is the peak body in the field of Communication in Australia and New Zealand, and the conference attracts local and international delegates.

Submissions are welcome on all aspects of communication, including journalism, media studies, political communication, marketing communication, new media, public relations, organizational communication, disability and communication, Indigenous media and representation, health, science and environmental communication and many more ...
