Support for students with disability and/or health conditions
UC AccessAbility coordinates and implements services and supports to assist students with disability and/or health conditions. This is achieved through the provision of reasonable adjustments to enable equal access to university. UC AccessAbility invites you to make an appointment to discuss your support needs and the types of adjustments that may be available to assist you with your studies.
Appointments are available face-to-face, via Skype, or telephone. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
UC AccessAbility is located in Building 1, Level B, Room 156 (opposite UC Health and Counselling).
Who can register?
You are eligible to register if you:
- have a disability
- experience injury or illness
- are diagnosed with a medical or mental health condition
- are the primary carer of someone with disability and/or continuing health condition.
Support is available whether your condition is permanent, fluctuating or temporary.
Eligibility is determined at a registration appointment with a Disability Advisor.
You may register with UC AccessAbility at any time during your studies. Please contact UC AccessAbility as early as possible to enable us to arrange your support in a timely manner.
