University of Canberra Teaching Awards
The University of Canberra Teaching Awards & Citations are an important part of the University's commitment to the central place of teaching and learning within the university community. Winners of the awards are selected following written application to the Awards Committee and are honoured at the University of Canberra Excellence Awards ceremony held in November each year.
For 2023 Teaching Awards & Citations, the nomination period opens in February and closes on 29 September 2023. The process is one of self-nomination and does not require a third-party nominator.
Partnership institutions are considered associate institutions for the awards. Partnership staff can apply for recognition via the UC Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning (Teams and Individuals) and UC Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning (Teams only) categories. They are not able to apply for recognition in the UC Awards for Teaching Excellence (Individual only) category.
