13 January 2015: More than 500 students have visited the University of Canberra to talk to staff about their study options and starting university as part of its Course Advice Day.
"Course Advice Day is a fantastic way for students to find out more about the wide range of courses and units available at the University of Canberra, as well as support services, pathway programs, accommodation and more," the University's director of student administration and planning, Scott Nichols said.
For students who have already received an offer, they were able to get one-on-one assistance in applying, accepting their offer or enrolling in units ahead of classes starting on 16 February.

Ryan Grallelis said he attended the day, held on 6 January, because it was the best place to find out more information on the courses available and how to accept his offer and enrol.
"It's all very exciting but nerve-racking at the same time," Mr Grallelis, who is studying a Bachelor of Education, said.
He added that he was looking forward to the new environment the University has to offer.
"I've also found UC to be really comfortable so far and the atmosphere is really warming."
Mr Nichols said there were still plenty of opportunities to talk to staff about studying at the University of Canberra.
"The University's Don't Panic sessions provide advice on our pathway programs, and potential students can also visit Student Central located in building one from Monday to Friday for help with course advice, accepting your offer, enrolling and more," he added.
The University is also running Wander-in-Wednesday sessions in Student Central every week until the start of Semester One where staff can answer all your questions about University access and study.
