Science in national security: UC lecture

23 July 2014: Chief defence scientist and head of the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO), Alex Zelinsky, spoke at the University of Canberra recently as part of the National Security Lecture Series.
DSTO is the Australian government's lead agency for safeguarding Australia by delivering valued scientific advice and innovative technology solutions for defence and national security.
At the lecture, Dr Zelinsky discussed how science contributes to the security of a nation. He also addressed how DSTO makes a particular contribution to Australia's defence and security and how it works with the broader Australian scientific community.
