UC lecture discusses nation’s cyber security

12 August 2014: Major General Stephen Day DSC AM, Head of Cyber at the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) has discussed cyber security as part of the National Security Lecture Series at the University of Canberra on 8 August.

In his lecture, Major General Day discussed how the ASD, which provides cyber security advice and assistance to government, and coordinates operational responses to cyber incidents, confronts cyber threats to Australia.

He also shared an update on the next step in the evolution of Australia's operational capability: the Australian Cyber Security Centre.
