Educational Design and Course Development

Learning and Teaching support curriculum design and development, as well as course approvals and teaching.

• Educational Designers partner with Faculty staff to work through the course development process and explore, design, implement and evaluate innovative student-centred curriculum and learning experiences. Education designers are available at THE SHED dropins and by appointments, details in details in The SHED UCLearn site.

• The Course Quality team supporting faculties to navigate and meet legislative and University regulations and standards. It is more than just completion of the correct paperwork; it is the understanding of how and why the regulations exist, and exploring with faculties if changes are needed to meet their particular requirements. During 2017/18 much of this work is subsumed in the Curriculum Review.
