Professional engagement, partnerships and programs

Our professional engagement focuses on the development of strong links with our professional bodies, key partners and our alumni. This involves membership on national bodies, federal, state and local government committees, advisory boards and review panels on request.

One major platform for engagement is through the adjunct staff of the Faculty. As of January 2013 we had 85 adjuncts (Professors, Associate Professors and Professional Associates) that contribute in a range of ways to our work. Our leading adjuncts are supporting the development of new award and non-award courses, advising on national and international discipline trends and needs, supervising research students, and give guest lectures and workshops.

International Work >

We offer collaborative teaching programs with overseas partners, student exchanges of up to one semester and student study tours, placements or internships in a range of locations.

Industry Partners >

The Faculty has a number of sustained partnerships with industry that reflect the applied nature of our teaching and research. Whilst many of the partnerships focus on the ACT region , there are significant partnerships with industry leaders nationally and internationally.

Professional Community >

The Faculty of Education, Science Technology and Mathematics is proud to support a number of activities that contribute to our community and to our professions.

Professional Learning >

We facilitate short course offerings that are informed by current research and consist of a variety of award programs, non-award programs and bespoke sessions.
