Professional Accreditation

All University of Canberra qualifications are accredited under the Higher Education provisions of the Australian Qualifications Framework and are internationally recognised. In addition to this overall accreditation several of our qualifications are also accredited by independant industry accreditation bodies or other agencies as follows


The Australian Computer Society (ACS) has accredited the Bachelor of Business Informatics at the professional level.

CPA Australia has accredited the Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting programs. CPA Australia is one of the world's largest accounting bodies with a membership of more than 139,000 finance, accounting and business professionals worldwide.


The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) has accredited the Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting programs. The ICAA is the professional body for Chartered Accountants in Australia and members operating thoughout the world.


The Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) has accredited the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning. The Planning Institute of Australia is the national body representing the planning profession.
