Industry and Community Engagement

When students engage with the community and industry throughout their studies, everyone benefits. Students learn by applying theories and concepts to the workplace; they develop essential employability skills, networks and they gain a deeper understanding of their professions. The organisations they work with benefit from the students' fresh approach and innovation.

Industry engagement happens across the Faculty of Arts and Design at all levels – from guest lectures or recorded interviews to internships, working on real case studies, field trips, Faculty-led international tours and cross-disciplinary projects with local, national and international organisations.

The Campus Development will also see UC become a comprehensive Work Integrated Learning University, where students at all levels are involved in developing the campus over the next decade.
