Biography

Nawal El-Gack is an Ass. Prof. in International Studies and Master of International Development at the University of Canberra, Australia, before that she has been lecturing in the Development Studies Program, Massey University, New Zealand.  Nawal is the author of Rural Development and Microfinance Project in Sudan: with Special Attention to Community Participation (2013) and a winner of several awards and research grants.  In 1990s she worked in Sudan, and with many international development organizations (UNDP, FAO and INGOs) as a development expert and consultant in several countries.
